What is the COBIS Poetry Competition?

Students are invited to write a poem that reflects this year's competition theme, 'Connections'.

Details on how to enter this years competition can be found here
All entries for the competition will be uploaded via Pobble.
To upload, you will need a Pobble for My Class account which we will give you for free!
If you are new to Pobble, look out for an email asking you to activate your account. If you already have a Pobble account, you will need to sign in to activate the premium features.

You can find out more about how you could make best use of this subscription at one of our free daily webinars. In the event you would prefer a colleague to access the free account, do contact us directly.

To help with the competition we have also created a free lesson for you. Again this is accessible in the Pobble platform. Once registered you can present and view the lesson using the link below.

To enter your winning entries, you will need to add the names of your entrants to Pobble and add their work. As the writing is then made public we ask that you get consent from parents. This letter should then be uploaded with the entry. This article should help.

You can also submit an entry that has been typed up or uploaded directly on Pobble by your students, using our exciting new Pupil Tools. The article below will help with this.

Please remember to add the following tags when submitting.
  • COBIS A 2021:  (for pupils 10 years and under)
  • COBIS B 2021:  (for pupil 11-14 years)
  • COBIS C 2021:  (for pupils 15-19 years)

The closing date for entries is 3rd February.
